The tourist activity in Morocco has increased by 3% by the end of the last May. This is the data revealed in a meeting held by the administrative council of the Moroccan National Office of Tourism.
The ministry of Tourism attributes this growth mainly by the increase of foreign tourists number in Morocco. In this regard, UK tourists in Morocco increases by 10%. 8% is for Italy while 7% for Germany. The Russian and Czech markets keep up its strong growth between 60% to 106%.But French and Spanish tourists last stable .
According the source itself, these results are realized by hard work of the National office at the level of communication and tourist offer promotion.
The ministry emphasized the role of Internet communication and social networks in tourism domain. Therefore, it has launched an operation to raise the volume of the tourist offer during the summer by introducing top Moroccan touristic spots.
On other hand, The Moroccan National Office of Tourism has signed 49 partnership deals with tours organizers, besides 2 deals with 2 international Tourist enterprises .
