On Friday, December the 27th, 2013, Al Faid High School English Clup in Nador, Morocco, organized a workshop about drama in the classroom entitled “ I love Acting” animated by Mr. Mohamed ASSKALLI in cooperation with Mr.Hassan Fellah ( teachers at the same school).

The workshop was divided to three phases. The first one was devoted to some general  literature related to drama, the second, for acting some funny Ice breakers , thanks to which students were trained how to use their voice and movements when performing, and as for the last  phase, it was devoted to performing a suggested play.

It has been observed that most students were involved and motivated from the very beginning to the end of the workshop. And this was because of the funny ice breakers and the scenes that were given to act.

All the students agreed that using drama in the classroom can take them to other dimensions of learning English, and that teaching and learnig such language is not limited to the classroom but it can go beyond.

For sure, our students showed a great talent and great interest in drama which needs to be shaped and discovered by their teachers.
