Various Moroccan cities are witnessing an intensive influx of Moroccan and foreign tourists which’s gone beyond the capacities of the cities. The case, this year, is exceptional for there hasn’t been such touristic activity since the 90s. This what oblige some tourists to sleep in their cars by the beaches in Agadir .
A source from the regional council of tourism in Marrakech affirmed that such large influx hasn’t happened since 1997 and 1998 ,adding that the fill rate of hotels exceeded 100% in some regions of Marrakech. Even the accommodation prices have been influenced. They are almost doubled by different kinds of hotels while public squares turn into cars parking.
