Stating Shahadah at the Council of Ulama‘s (scholars) office in Nador, a Spanish citizen aged 36 declared her conversion to Islam. On such great life occasion, the new Muslim convert further changed her name from “Speranza” to “Amal”.
The inner peace she found in Islam, ethics and manners of the Muslims she came across abroad made her realize the right path. Therefore, she decided to embrace Islam.
Just like Amal, Antonio had the same story today. The Spanish man, married and aged 44, declared his new faith Islam and chose himself a new name : Youness.
