Morocco has a comparative advantage in terms of promoting democracy and human rights, said, on Wednesday in Rabat, the speaker of the National Diet of Sweden (Swedish Parliament) Per Westerberg.
We have a very positive relationship with the Kingdom of Morocco which has a comparative advantage in terms of strengthening democracy and respect for human rights, said Westerberg during a press conference on the sidelines of his two-day visit to the Kingdom.
He added that Sweden supports the vision of the United Nations (UN) regarding the Sahara issue, and remains open to any discussion on the prospects in the region.
Economically, Westerberg expressed his country's will to foster bilateral cooperation and remove obstacles hampering trade exchanges.
