-“Our community is rotten to the core.” People living side by side, but they may be may divided into four categories. The first group live as beasts; they are created to live to eat not to eat to live; moreover, they just fulfill their needs and satisfy them at any expense. They are selfishly heavy eaters and they seek to save more and possess more; as a result they become upstart people in society. This allows them sometimes to gain a good social position. The second group consists of those who feel so happy only if they burn fire into others’ houses. They hate all that is good, and never keep good in its goodness; their inner side is full of hostility. One of my relatives told me about a young smuggler living in an attic that he has rented, below two dancers live in the first floor; they are unmarried girls coming from another part of the country. These girls get a profit of neighboring this man because he brings some cosmetics and make – up from Mellilia. One of these girls has a case in the court and she has taught him about her very well, for she will need him as a witness in the court. They have sympathized harmoniously with each other. The story justifies the second group. The third type is governed by the unjust people. They implement their unjust authority on the weakest creatures: The governors implement it on the citizens, the heads of the families implement it on wives and girls; these are more serious and dangerous than the two previous ones. The last one refers to those who struggle to fight corruption, to keep what is right to be right. However, they are looked at as suspects, they are looked down on and despised in society; their speech worth nothing.”
-“ I think Mr. Abdo, you have changed the topic, haven’t you?” El Younsi said. “We have been talking about marriage.”
-“Oh yes, by the way I’d like to give you my point of view about a husband and a wife.” Abdo responded with interest. “Well, a couple, as you know, consists of two persons: a male and a female, but there are four types of couples in every society. The first one is made of authoritarian couple, that is both a husband and a wife are more serious and overwhelming to the extent that they hinder their children from any legitimate requirement. The second type are entirely the opposite, the husband is of a weak personality as well as his wife. They supply their children with all that they demand, their daughters put on shameful clothes, put on make-up everywhere; boys eat between meals, buy expensive clothes and belongings. This is what their liberty has brought to them. The third type consists of a weak wife and an authoritarian husband. The last one is made of a weak husband and a very serious wife. So which type is the best in your opinion? One has to analyze each case to think of siblings and children who will guide the society.
On the other hand, the continuity of human beings may be dangerously degraded for several reasons. Sooner or later the world will lack the balance between males and females. The time is coming where so many males will perish more abundantly than females. Males are exposed to death due to several factors; wars, accidents, epidemics, drugs kill more males than females. It’s said that there will be fifty girls for each man. Accidents are exterminating a huge numbers of male drivers. Although women drive too, they don’t take the same risk the male driver takes. Normally the majority of women drive carefully and slowly; moreover they drive just in the outskirts of their residence. Concerning the epidemics are derived from the addiction to smoking or from the poisonous fast food fried outside” Abdo explained. El younsi felt tired and sleepy, Jamal suggested they end the conversation and go to bed, so everyone took his place. Abdo and El Younsi have slept in the same room.
