Standing up, El younsi was looking around the room where he was praying, gazing at certain objects, examining the corner with his eyes, he rushed towards the table. Abdo pushed his chair aside and pulled one another where Elyounsi seated himself. His eyes were rolling and checking what was on the table. However, he was waiting to be welcomed by the hosts. Two other friends came in. Mohammed and Jamal, the two students studying ‘Medicine’ to be doctors in the future.
Mohammed seemed to descend from a well-off parents; his father works in Germany. All his belongings are so precious and of a good quality. What he was wearing attracted El younsi’s attention. This latter quickly shook his hand with him as though he had known him for ages. –‘Could you present him, Si Abdou?’, Mohammed initiated his speech.
-‘This is one from Nador. You don’t know him, I guess. His name is Elyounsi’ Abdo explained.
-‘No, I have never met him, but I’m afraid his face is familiar to me.’ Mohammed examined El younsi’s face for a while.
-‘ I have the impression that I have already seen you somewhere’ El younsi expressed.
– ‘May be’, Mohammed said. ‘Where are you from exactly? I mean what’s your neighborhood?’ He asked.
– ‘ I’m from Ouled- Brahim, but my origin is Kabdana’ El younsi clarified.
-‘ Ok, by the way, you are welcome’ Mohammed concluded.
The others were quiet. El younsi seemed to be much hungry. While he was chewing his bites, he was looking scornfully at one of the group who was reading a newspaper.
-‘ Put that newspaper aside and come to drink your tea’. El younsi remarked.
-‘ Yes, Ok, Here I am’ Chakibi said. He asked him if he had been at school.
-‘ Yes, but I was dropped out from school when I was in the 9th grade. I was poor at French and weak at Maths. It was one of the teacher’s faults In primary school. He was not teaching us at all. After a break in the morning he was sending to bring some vegetables and eggs. He was using students to prepare his lunch, I was usually in a trap because I was the oldest boy in my class.’ El younsi caught the attention of Abdo’s friends. A heavy rain interrupted their gossip, Chakibi and Jamal rushed to the door to have a look outside.
